Meet Richard Karn from TV’s Home Improvement, Sat. March 15, 12 noon and 2:30PM
Richard Karn is an American actor, game show host, and author best known for his role as the lovable and knowledgeable Al Borland on the hit sitcom Home Improvement (1991–1999). As Tim Taylor’s trusty sidekick on the fictional show-within-a-show Tool Time, Karn’s portrayal of Al, with his flannel shirts and deadpan humor, made him a fan favorite. Beyond Home Improvement, Karn has had a diverse career, including hosting Family Feud and Bingo America, as well as making numerous television appearances. His warm and relatable screen presence has cemented his status as a beloved figure in pop culture.
