Mid Atlantic Expos has produced a series of consumer Home Improvement themed events in the Maryland area since 2005. We have taken the concept of the big home show and brought it close to home! We present our shows in smaller to medium sized venues, balance the events with a variety of exhibitors as a great resource to consumers, add educational components, and advertise heavily. This face-to-face opportunity giving both exhibitors customers the chance interact and discuss projects, with companies, compare products and services, gain a sense of the quality of the competing companies, and get inspired to make commitments to household improvements.
Our shows vary in size from 55 booths to 140 booths and typically showcase products and services including kitchens, baths, exterior products, flooring, heating and air, geothermal, blinds and window treatments, lawn and landscape, security and alarm systems, bedding, cookware, general contractors, additions and remodels. We place our shows in higher income areas with higher household values- areas with consumers that can afford to make the purchases for their home.
Our shows also feature a variety of homeowner educational seminars with national, regional and local celebrities. Over the years, we have featured guests including Tom Silva, Roger Cook and Kevin O’Conner from This Old House, Rupert Boneham and Rudy Boesch from Survivor, Matt and Shari from HGTV’s Room By Room, Vern Yip, Sabrina Soto, Taniya Nayak, Alison Victoria, Nicole Curtis, Paul James, Jason Cameron, Jeff Devlin, George Oliphant, Matt Blashaw, Matt Muenster, Chris Lambton, Chip Wade, Ahmed Hassan, Jane Lockhart, Summer Baltzer, Stephen Fanuka, Kayleen McCabe, James Young, Sara Bendrict, Danielle Bryk from HGTV and the DIY Network , Damon Bennett from Holmes on Homes, Mike McGrath from National Public Radio, Dr. Lori from Discovery Channel, Chef John Shields, Chef Mark Salter, Richard Karn from Home Improvement and more.
